Description

Kinder Swim Lessons are the perfect introduction to a summer camp experience with a focus on building aquatic skills. Campers receive a daily swim lesson with a certified Swim Instructor (1:4 ratio) followed by recreational swim time (1:2 ratio). On day one, campers will be assessed and divided by skill level. At the end of the week, campers will receive a report card indicating skill achievement. To compliment this program, campers will participate in a variety of traditional camp activities. While out of the pool, campers will be supervised at a 1:8 ratio. Campers are required to be 4 years of age on the first day of camp and toilet independently.

YMCA Financial Assistance

We recommend you do this to hold your spot(s) until assistance approval is received. Spots and assistance are not guaranteed, and YMCA assistance is available on a first come first served basis. To register in advanced of assistance approval, a credit card will be required for payment of deposit. 1:1 Integration Support

If your child requires 1:1 Integration Support, please complete our Integration Support online inquiry form. You are welcome to continue browsing our program options, however registration cannot be completed until you have connected with our Integration Support team.

Spaces in our Integration Program are available on a first come first served basis until May 31, 2022.

Government Child Care Subsidy

If you attend YMCA Child Care and receive Government Child Care Subsidy, please proceed to register online. Your account has been adjusted. This will secure your child’s space until the YMCA receives confirmation from your local municipality. The YMCA reserves the right to amend your child’s registration to the approved municipal rate. If we are unable to receive confirmation of your assisted rate, your child’s registration will be amended to be charged the full fee for the program.

Campers receiving Government Child Care Subsidy may take any day camp program that does not include an overnight. We encourage families to select a different program each week when registering for multiple weeks. Review our Subsidy Guidelines in a new tab to learn more.
